If you've been wondering what's been happening in our lives we'll give you a shortened version. We'd be writing a novel here if every detail was covered.

First Off if You did not get Our Emails explaining we have gone through our Websites and done a Lot of changes to them to make them WW2 ready. If not knowing what WW2 is it's adding RSS Feeds (Blog features) plus Audio and Video Features to them. These last all 3 are called embedded controls so can update automatically to latest breaking news and features. This, we think sure is a lot more added fun.

If you are wondering why We did this we found a lot of things on our websites were truly going no where! It was Eye Opening and Brain Numbing to discover and wonder, "how did that happen?". Well when you've been at it as long as we have and are quickly moving on to the next Biggest Baddest or Got to have it! ... It's easy to forget about the Websites You have in place and truly love. All the while thinking "Gee they are out there doing their job. It worked then and surely will be working still." Moving forward it's easy to find yourself forgetting your changes to web addresses, such as Ezine Blogs Websites and how the changes made affected work done in the past... Yeah, it's the Good Old You learn as you go lesson.

Mother Nature? JerSooz...What The...? Working Vacation instead of fun

When Mother Nature talks at her 75 MPH wind voice You listen

We've got to tell you. We had a real run in with Mother Nature! It's been one thing after another! Here in Bakersfield California we have had storms bringing with them winds of up to 75 miles per hour.

These winds pick up speed blowing South East to West and Swirling rounds of Sand Storms and fury down the San Joaquin Valley, hit the mountains and blow right back again creating havoc.

Over time these were the winds which blew down the fence in the 'back 40' and weakened the rest on the North side of the property.

Then to our amazement, it all happened so fast, the other fence, which we had re-enforced with more posts and rebuilt Mother Nature found the weak link and brought down the not repaired yet piece that was weak along the north side of

the house, which we share with the closer neighbors became affected to a condition of barely standing.

Mother Nature Smacked Our Fence like it was a Twig

To give an example of how strong Mother Nature hit, Three  of the Four 4x4 posts supporting the actual fence panels had snapped at the base let's say where the fence was ripped away from the 4th post left you shaking head going wow that's amazing!

When You got the Big Boy Toys You get Busy!

So, we got busy, pulled out the power tools we had bought a mini cement mixer (This Mini Mixer was so slick had to have it Jer though had to assemble it and exactly 4 hours later with the Directions vague what seemed like a zillion nuts bolts washers got it assembled 2 people would have gone 1/3 the time this mini though is slick to get in tight places) we also bought a 10 inch miter saw to cut the 2x4's and 4x4 posts both of these for around $200 at Harbor Freight , even rented a gas post hole digger. then got out our air compressor and after going to Harbor Freight again for a Mini Air Power Impact Hammer $10.95 works great for busting out built up cement we had jokingly in our hands a Mini Jack hammer Grrrrrrrrr Power Toooools this backed up by Our Air Powered Framing Nailer let's say when you own house/houses like we have with lots of fencing you have Tools that save lots of time

We sunk 10 new posts and replaced 5 entire sections of fence (so far). Our Neighbor with a Bad back can't help so we said just help buy fence materials and like Larry the Cable Guy We'll Get Er Done!

Sometimes when the Work Gets Hard a Good Practical Joke can Ease the  Seriousness

Fact Jer knowing what doing time wise we one day tore out 3 sections fence and left both the Yards exposed and went out to Lunch leaving maybe Neighbors thinking just great! are their dogs going to come Eat Us (Our Girls are Great Watch Dogs but Love the Neighbors though when been bitten by a Dog our Babies can put the fear into you ) little did they know the Gurls were with Us in the Suburban sleeping and cruising in the Dog Wagon let's say We had a leisurely shopping trip and a fast lunch with Smiles on Our Faces ... The Neighbors got a good laugh too because the fence looked great when finished it just 15 minutes past when thought would

Sometimes You have to Cut Back the Over growth to make things fit

Also had to cut about one third of a gorgeous orange tree which ultimately destroyed our closer neighbor's and our shared or as we call it here "Good Neighbor" fence.

There's a little fence work left including a gate (shh!) to the back 40 which used to be an orange grove turned what looks like a place for a horse or goats. Runs to the dump and fixing all the sprinklers we broke and then some pond work and we should have it under control for the time being.

Around The House the California Pool Dream is all it's cracked up to be

Let's say when we bought our house we thought wow a Pool neat extra expenses yes easy to maintain hey why not! get a Tan Get some Sun and as we like to do dive in it when a hot day which is normally 2nd week of May till November most days in 90's most over 100 let's say Bakersfield is a great place to have a pool

Next came the disturbingly affected issue of the pool. if never heard of it it's called Blue Algae Black Algae or OMG OMG OMG it looks like the Plaster Color is coming off

If you have any experience with pools you know there is an entire spa and pool supply section in most large hardware or home centers.

But what do you use if you have a dark blue like someone busted a big blue ink pen in your pool and it's streaked like your best shirt without one of the Nerd or Geek Pocket Protectors , yeah almost black mold which encompasses the entire bottom sides and stairs of your pool?

We actually thought this ghastly mold was rotting underneath the paint surface!!

 Of course we purchased everything under the sun from the regular home center stores to treat it. After getting no real answers from the store employees, or even folks we know or on our day jobs.

Everything we tried failed drastically...and nothing short of resurfacing it seemed to be the answer.

Money becomes an issue here because, after replacing the old shingle with the new roof, repainting the entire inside and out of our home, installing gas-filled dual paned windows in the front of the house we were no where near ready for the cost of resurfacing the pool.

Wait! There was hope to be found!Leslie Pool Supply to the Answer

Last weekend we found the pool solution. This was so simple we were standing with our mouths open as we listened to the pool water specialist.

He said, "pour this black mold killer in the screen (next to the pump- it goes directly to the pump from there) and leave it running 24 hours.

If that doesn't work drain it and pressure wash it."

You can pressure wash a pool!

How easy is that!! All this time we thought we were looking at an enormous bill to get it cleared up.

Friends, if you have a pool and think you've tried everything do yourself a favor, go and ask a professional. You will save yourself a lot of time and a ton of money.

You will know the pro's because they are the ones who give you a free water testing bottle and test your water for you.

What's Going On In The JerSooz Enterprises Office

 Two of our computers actually broke down to the point where nothing could be saved. Sooz favorite, her HP laptop needed to be fixed as the cord would not stay in the back allowing the battery to discharge every time it was used.

Luckily it is still under warranty so back in the shop it went via UPS, for the second time.

She replaced her old PC and this was truly an inspiration in itself!

Jer had to get a new wide screen monitor and man! these are fantastic!

The only troubles we are having now is...can JerSooz LifeTime Friends and readers see what we are seeing if you've still got the regular monitor?
